The main focus of this role is to take a dynamic and leading role in this challenging project which involves working as part of a team to update and enhance Bitesize’s images and infographics in time for relaunch in Summer 2012. You will ensure all content is of a first class standard: thoroughly researched and accurate, aligning with audience needs and expectations and in line with the departmental ambition of inspiring a life full of learning.
You will lead the planning, production and publication of brilliant new illustrations and infographics for delivery online and on mobile platforms, whilst fully engaging with the department’s development process to ensure a constant flow of fresh, innovative ideas that will inspire our audiences.
Requirements
You will have experience of organising, scheduling and prioritising projects on time and budget and an awareness of the educational curriculum for 5–19s. You will need the ability to generate a mixture of creative and pragmatic solutions to challenges together with a clear understanding of the needs and profiles of target audiences and the ability to translate this into imaginative and compelling content ideas, particularly images and infographics.
As an Assistant Producer you will have experience of and an interest in creating formal learning content for Bitesize’s target demographic and an understanding of the processes involved in interactive design. An ability to make the most efficient use of resources and to operate within financial and other restraints will be essential.
