The Smalls Awards 2013 will be held on September 5 in London, UK.

Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit their films to compete in the categories of documentary, animation, comedy, drama, music video and foreign language film. Shortlisted films will be showcased as a part of our festival programme at screening events in Central London. The winning film of each category will be determined by our esteemed judging panel of leading industry professionals. The winners of each category will be awarded cash prizes, and more (stay tuned for further announcements).

Early Bird Submissions: 22nd April - 5th May | Fee - £10

We honor the world's best original short films
In March 2013 The Smalls Film Festival will open its 8th annual call for entries, welcoming films to compete for awards in the following categories: Best Foreign Language Film, Best Animation, Best Drama, Best Documentary, Best Music Video, and Best Comedy.
A selection of films will be screened during the festival that takes place August 30 - September 6 in London, UK.
The winners of this year’s festival will be announced on September 5 at The Smalls Awards 2013.

No Playground for Little Cowboys is a genre bending adventure comedy told through bold, visual storytelling.

The Smalls Film Festival 2012 Grand Prize
In recognition of courageous and extraordinary filmmaking, The Smalls Film Festival 2012 Grand Prize was awarded to HOOKED by Stuart Howe. Sponsored by Emerse and Videoseeding.com, the Grand Prize offers its winner targeted online advertising and marketing grants valued at £10,000. The prize also includes promotional and editorial support from The Smalls team, as well as use of The Smalls editorial suite and studio.
