FILM SUPERVISOR

At SAE Institute Oxford we offer degree level programmes in Digital Film Making, Audio Production and Web Development. SAE Institute has over 50 campuses around the world.

 

The Film Supervisor role is primarily a one-to-one tutor available to assist the students while they are training on workstations, utilising film equipment & practising post-production techniques. They are the first port of call for students for matters of equipment operation and available to provide guidance with respect to student assignments and general film making and equipment operating skills. This position supports the film department, maintains equipment records and ensures timely maintenance of film equipment.

 

This position would suit a recent graduate.

 

Essential skills and experience:

 

A minimum graduate level qualification in Film Making

 

A confident user of relevant software used at SAE Institute Oxford (please see full job description)

 

Basic camera operating skills

 

Basic sound recording skills

 

Desirable skills and experience:

 

Ability to use lighting and grip equipment

 

Ability to inspire and motivate prospective and enrolled students

 

Experience in the field of Digital film making

Salary: £12,650 Pro Rata*

 

Contract Term: Full time (10.00 am – 6.00 pm) / Part Time
