The Krome 'Until the End' Music Video was an entirely 2D animated video (written, directed and animated by myself), created on a very small budget. The video features a custom designed tarot card deck that tells the life story of a man and key moments of his life. With the video my intent was to focus on the progression from life to death and then the concept of his life living on after the fact. The video was received with great enthusiasm by the band and their fans and have since been distributed online as well as played on MuchMusic, Canada's Music TV channel.

In India, usually women are not allowed to fulfill their need and rights. This harshness on women goes up till an extent that they are not allowed to live their lives. Here, there is an ancient ritual that is called ‘Female Infanticide’, also known as ‘Dudh Piti. Females are discriminated and neglected for basic nutrition, education and living standards. While still in the womb, the mother is forced to kill her girl child. The female child is killed and thrown into the trashcan. She is killed even before she has the opportunity to open her eyes. Parents, who are held on the same place as ‘GOD’ are the ones responsible for the death of their female child. The Difference between ancient age and modern age is only that the technology has been changed, but old mindsets and custom still exist.

After several years weaving in and out of the creative world (Recessions, University etc etc) I have had to bridge the employment gaps in the rewarding, inspiring and professionally fulfilling "service sector" (can you sense the sarcasm?) By this I refer to call centres. Less4loadz is a short insight into the mountain of crazy antics, bad middle management, incredible characters and humour and quite simply the culture of what many refer to as the modern workplace, or, to some (me included) the 21st century work house. Take a look, let me know what you think. This video is much more than just the creative rant of a disgruntled graduate, it takes a snapshot of a very real working world where logic and common sense is out the window, intelligence and ability is quashed and the word "yes" is all that qualifys you to authority and responsibility, not ability. He wants to set things straight on all levels of society and no amount of currency will bring him down. He is a spoken-word rap artist and we see him taking a copy of his album and nailing it to the city-hall door. This may be his way of posting a JEREMIAD, or a warning; who knows. The two kids are walking and talking when they suddenly see this abandened house. They decide to go in. But the house is cursed. It causes a hole in time which creates a loop in time. Which means that everything these kids do from the second they step in the house happens again and again for eternity except they just don't know it...

The film is based off of the idea that something is easily forgotten or dismissed as unimportant if it is not in our direct view. It's not too late to switch your train of thought to let the abandoned be observed. I played with that thought even further and had the red string act as this intense feeling of manipulation. Shortly after the characters are covered in the red string-they are covered in paperbags-again with the: out of sight, out of mind theme. Slightly refering backwards to the idea that once the mind is convinced something is unimportant-it blocks it out. However, towards the end of the film, a character displays enough courage to defy popular belief and is able to break free-by taking off the paper bag. Then the character lets out a call and two others follow. Inbetween I jump back into two characters in the woods who are still covered in the paper bags. They represent those who are too stubborn to see things a different way. Then, the three characters who took off
