one of which involves mobile video at arts and sports venues around Rochester, NY(in the United States).
Though we produce films and commercials, as well as publish and sell
print materials I try very hard to promote the arts whenever possible.
Sadly, this is not the profitable part of my business, but it is my
passion. I believe it not only contributes favorable to my community,
but also the global artistic community, as a whole.
I am interested in a few things:
1. Unpublished 1 minute (or shorter)shorts that are real attention grabbers (they
must not be obscene) to possibly buy the publishing rights to. These particular shorts
must not
be published on the internet or anywhere else. We would not duplicate
or publish them on the web or any of our television affiliates
until
publishing rights are obtained, but we may test marketing them in small
local crowds on our mobile screens(siren marketing) before deciding to
buy. Our budget for this is very low. We would pay between $50.00 and
$300.00 for a very select number of short films that we could use in a
limited commercial endeavors.
Most submissions will not be used(even if
they are fantastic). If you are already publishing your work in the
States, this opportunity is probably not for you. For aspiring film makers, this might work as an option to help fund other projects.
If you are interested, please send return postage , along with your
DVD, and wait at least 2 months before inquiring. It will take us a
while to view them all.
2. We also need published or unpublished work (under 2 minutes long),
to either buy simple public performance rights to, or to publish (but
not duplicate). For this
option, your work can be published. We only want the right to show them
to a new market a limited number of times.
We'd pay between $20.00 to $100.00 for this right.
We are arts advocates, so we would also promote your websites heavily,
and/ or tell the public where to purchase your work any time we aired
your films.
If you send us DVDs, please keep in mind that we cannot be
held responsible for anything sent via snail postage or electronically. If
you send an SASE, we will try our best to return your property(please keep copies!), but we must be
held harmless against anything lost during transport.
So here are my websites:
www.sirenads.com and
www.cabook.net
Our address can be obtained by emailing us through one of those website.
Thanks so much!
