But as a talented Co-ordinator, it’s a challenge you’ll rise to.
About the role
Joining our small but fast-paced post-production facility, you’ll be a highly trusted member of the team. Acting as gatekeeper and working with sensitive feature material on a daily basis, you’ll keep every bit of footage tracked, categorised and distributed according to studio policy. That means logging all tapes and media that come in and out of the facility, knowing the exact location of relevant media required for jobs and allocating it to appropriate personnel on time and in the right format. It also means labelling, documenting, updating and maintaining our records to the highest level of accuracy. But more than that, you’ll work closely with senior members of the business; drawing on your organisational skills to recommend better ways of keeping a firm grip on one of the biggest film catalogues in the world.
About you
We’re looking for a highly organised individual with experience in a similar Co-ordinator role. Along with knowledge of the formats and terminology used in a post-production environment, you’ll pay close attention to detail and use your initiative in problem solving situations. And although strong IT skills and knowledge of Scheduall, Xytech and Farmers Wife are required, perhaps most important are your first-class communication skills. Liaising with all levels of management, you’ll have the confidence to influence and the diplomacy to push back when necessary – really making your mark on an industry that has so much room to grow.
