A subtle eye opener. Told organically without any preaching excess. Much appreciated.

This is really an ambitious film and well told story that sort of sneaks up on you. Think you demonstrate the senselessness and randomness of violence in a very universal way. If I was to comment on anything on the neg side, it would be the scenes at home. Think the film would have been stronger without the scenes with mom and dad, at least in their current simplistic shape. But overall very well-acted, shot and told in my view – congratulations on tackling this important subject in such an intelligent way. Look forward to seeing more of your stuff out there soon.

Good lighting and acting. Story was nice too, but could have been a bit more congealed. Well done.

If Not Now, When?

Daniel is another one of those kids who, like thousands dreams of becoming a professional footballer. His ambition and talent will allow him to escape the unstoppable urban violence.

The film depicts a current ethnic perspective of youth culture, which is portrayed by the every day interactions between Daniel and his peers. On a very ordinary Saturday his journey takes a sudden and very tragic turn.

The film exposes the shocking truth and impact of knife crime. If Not Now, When? Highlights the damning truth of urban life for many of it teenage inhabitants.
