Nice one chris, what was the technical glitch from?
Its basically a recording from an old
Atari Linx thrown 2 metres across a room.
The audio is sequenced recordings from various messed up snippets of mp3 files.
On a side note there is a great project by
BNJMN™ GAULON called
Corrupt™ - its basically data corruption software built using
Pro55ing.
I find it funny how technical glitches influence music and design. I remember when I heard a CD skip for the first time, and immediately thought of how it could be incorporated into a track. I suppose now with digital TV and video encodings we’re going to see digital glitches much more in visual design. Have you seen the ghosting that happens on a corrupted mpeg file? Pretty cool.
Pas mal, not bad work, really!
