EXPERIENCE
Lecointre published his first pictures in the French newspaper Libération in 1995, before working on the illustrations for La Balançoire de Plasma, penned by Pierre la Police. In 2003, Jean discovered animation when he designed the pastry characters for the hilarious TV animation program Turkish Delights, co-directed with Franck Secka and Fabien Caux-Lahalle and produced by SoWhatNow.
SKILLS
Lecointre is an expert in digital collage. Old fashion magazines and strange stories told in photographs provide inspiration for his work, a series of disturbing images reminiscent of David Lynch’s Eraserhead period, and science-fiction novels from the 60's.
