EXPERIENCE
Bearden is an award-winning screenwriter who has recently turned to directing. He was head writer on VH1's long-running Where Are They Now? (#2 show on the network) and has written specials for the Children's Television Workshop. The feature length version of his latest film The Raftman's Razor was a finalist at the 2002 Sundance Screenwriter's Lab.

The Raftman’s Razor made its USA premiere at The Sundance Film Festival and was awarded at the world's top film festivals (Press Prize at Clermont-Ferrand).
SKILLS
The Raftman’s Razor, his latest film which he directed and co-wrote, is an amazing and very personal mix of animation and live action. It tells the story of two teenagers’ passion for a comic book character that never does anything. The film shows a beautiful 60's style America and demonstrates Bearden’s narrative talent.
