Pura,

as in aqua pura, water, is an experimental documentary that tells the story of the artist, myself, whose father is non-existent in my life as a result of drug use. After realizing I had became involved with other destructive people in my life, within my friendships and intimate relationships influenced by the traditions of American culture, I go on a journey outside of the United States. On my journey, I took a trip to Montreal and it is there that I felt the culture of the city represented who I am as a person. The city is culturally diverse and it is there that I found friends that share my same values in life.
