A short documentary on British Pro Wrestler "The Heavyweight House Of Pain" Stixx. Filmed on the day of FWA British Uproar 2010 with the help of the Frontier Wrestling Alliance. This is my second documentary filmed with crew from UH. A huge thanks to Paul Grint, Alex Shane, my film crew, Josh Woodward for the music and the whole FWA for their help on the day. Feedback appreciated.

Nice work! Have you thought about making this into a feature? Seems like a very interesting character and environment to expand even more on. Great in its current format though. Well done.

Thanks for your kind comments. I have plenty more footage and plan to make a 15 or 20 minute version at some point. Have to wait til I'm back at Uni after Summer though, as I don't have the PC software at home. Thanks again.

Thanks for the comments. What did you feel was bad about the music? I'm genuinely interested as any constructive criticism is great. What would you suggest in it's place? Bare in mind I had to adhere to copyright laws (so no using well known music) and had a budget of zero.

Hi Paul. Yes the financial restrictions you are under are fully understood, and the music by no means ruined your film, but to answer your question, the music seemed a:not very good heavy rock, & b: stylistically too obvious. Sometimes using the opposite of the expected can have surprisingly good results, but you may need to do some experimentation to find the right thing. I wonder whether old fashioned fairground ride music would be somehow suitable?

Fairground music would be a nod towards the old 'Carny' days of pro wrestling so there's certainly a link. Thanks for the input. I'm doing a longer cut at some point and I'll certainly play around with some ideas.
