The film follows a detective on the trail of a serial killer, Thundermaus, in the final throes of their cat and mouse game.

Made originally for a 48-Hour film challenge, Riyadh Haque & John McGinty  created a two-minute film that that forced you to write, shoot and screen your movie in a measly 48-hour schedule! What's worse is that there are "obstructions" too.

This year's "obstructions" were:
Title: Thundermaus
Line of dialogue: "Let them eat cake."
Genre: Techno Horror

We hope you enjoy it half as much as we did filming it...!

Totally impressive what you could do despite the "obstructions". The creep-out atmosphere is only elevated by your great sense of humor. Congrats.

Thank you so much, violet eyes. The obstructions were so pesky; I definitely contemplated not entering the competition when we got the mandate! That commentary is the nicest compliment I have ever received for a film :) Very much appreciated and I hope to make some more that are to your liking.

I thought this was very well done. I especially liked how you used the line, "Let them eat cake." I can't wait to see more from you :D

Thank you, klaxonkiller! I remember thinking of using that line the way it is in the film and being quite skeptical. When I asked my film partner, also lead in the film, John, he completely supported it. Your comments really make me feel that we made the right choice and we are so glad that you are supporting us! Hopefully, I have a few things to put up soon so look out for them and check out our vimeo should you get the chance: http://vimeo.com/slamscreen

Thanks again :)
