Very nice. The composition of your shots were well thought out. Could you tell me what you used to shoot this?
hi tracy...we used the canon 5d mark 2. it's an amazing little thing. since we had 48 hours to do everything from scratch...the color correction process was about 30 seconds per shot. i say this so you can imagine how good the picture could be if you don't do it in a hurry.....
Very nice. It could pass for film. I only asked because I saw a little skew on one of the telephoto shots. I have been using DSLRs for the past year (right after the MKII came out) and I have loved working with them. I plan on submitting another one here soon shot the same way (and many more to come). Keep them coming it looks great!
thanks for the love...will keep 'em coming...
Excellent - the opening shot aided by the music in brilliant - I love it.
Could you tell us more about the woman and the story? Was she acting or were you just following her through her day?
When I am an old woman I hope to walk to church everyday. : )
Very nice film.
really glad you enjoyed the film april..thank you for your kind words.
the woman we got from a database of extra's here in moscow. i didn't follow her and just shoot whatever she was doing...everything was scripted. i must say though that i didn't correct her at all...i just had to explain 1 time the action and she just did it flawlessly every time. that helps when you have half a day to shoot a whole film.))) the reason it looks 'natural' i guess is because this is actually her home...and her wardrobe....and her cats (those shots weren't scripted by the way)...and her neighborhood church...everything just kind of came together. we were really lucky to be able to have all the elements in such a short time...and to get permission from the church...oh man...that seemed impossible at that moment.
