Swarms of bullets. A playful tone. All you need is a 3-act story to work this little scene into and you're all set. Start thinking of your main character I'd say, and then go from there - unless you have a huge budget, character is the best place to start.
We just featured your film on The Smalls home page - hope you get a good response from the community! -- The Smalls
I just wanted to thank all of you at thesmalls.com for featuring my small. I
will keep you updated when we begin shooting. Thanks again, it means a lot to me.

Good job framing shots, playful tone and good music score for such a spur of the moment "take". I assume you are wanting to be a fimmaker, but your "score' was very good, too. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Great Job! Fun stuff, can't wait to keep it going and film more with you guys.
Great job there. I have recently had my short spoof re-make of the Clint Eastwood Western 'Unforgiven' featured here on the Smalls.

Take a look because the genre is the same as what you guys are going for. I would say do what you can in Post Production. Screw off the red plastic caps on the end of the guns. Try and add a muzzle flash and smoke if you can. Sound FXs and folly too. All adds to the atmosphere and style.
If you are going to add to the story and make the short longer then scout around for some good looking locations to film.
I enjoyed what you guys have done

In terms of this scene, I think you could do A spaghetti western mexican standoff type thing, like Sergio Leonne does at the end of "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly." Just before the guns get drawn do extreme close ups of their eyes, this will build the emotive tension I reckon and get your audience into the scene as opposed to being distant bystanders with standoffish shots? I hope that is useful...
You could expand on this scene/ story by creating a history between your characters. Two outlaws trying to stake their claim on what each believes is their turf? A renegade outlaw finally corners the corrupt sheriff? Something like that anyway...
