Congratulations to The Smalls Film Festival 2012 Winners!
And, it’s a wrap! The winners of The Smalls Awards 2012 were announced tonight, during an unforgettable celebration hosted by Shaun Keaveny.
With each category winner set to win a Smalls trophy, a £1,000 cash prize from The Smalls and a £10,000 production grant from Panavision, excitement levels were running high. Hundreds of films were submitted to compete for top nods in the categories of Drama, Music Video, Documentary, and Comedy. The winner in the Comedy category will also be invited to a meeting with UKTV Gold.
From a selection of incredible entries our esteemed judging panel, including: Elliot Grove (Founder of Raindance Film Festival), Scott Horscroft (VP of A&R Labels, EMI), Derek Thorne (Programme Manager, One World Media) and Steve North (General Manager, Dave & Gold at UKTV), has determined the winners.
After careful consideration, deliberation and even some heated debate. The following films won our judges’ hearts and minds. Congratulations to…
Best Drama – HOOKED by Stuart Howe
Best Music Video – YOUNG GOLD by Michelle Phillips and Johannes Conrad (YUKIKO)
Best Documentary – OIL & WATER by Gemma Atkinson (Fat Rat Films)
Comedy – NO PLAYGROUND FOR LITTLE COWBOYS by Carl Rock
