UK independent film labels need your help.
After the Sony DADC warehouse fire that destroyed a significant amount of DVD stock, The Other Cinema has been created - to help co-ordinate assistance for distributors who are effected. They are asking for help both from industry peeps and the general public.
What can you do then? Basically, on this site: http://theothercinema.com/how-you-can-help/ you will find links to where you can buy films from these distributors. From iTunes to The BFI, and the list will keep growing.
You buying a film (or a few) can really make a difference to these labels comeback from the attack. Pretty cool, right? That doing what you love most - buying and watching movies - can achieve good!
