Need to get away from the monitor now and again? We know that feeling too.
That's why we're bringing you "The Can" - a brand new monthly showcase for short films from around the world aimed at recharging your creative batteries.
Broadcasters, advertisers, creatives and freelancers all know that seeing something new can help inspire a fresh perspective and introduce you to new talent. For filmmakers, this is the place where your film can be seen by a live audience. And for the rest, some cheap drinks in the company of great films is not a bad way to spend your happy hour.
The Smalls offers a successful channel for new filmmakers to upload their work – previous competitions like the Comedy Smalls has put the winners in the same room with execs from Paramount Comedy. The Can strives to achieve a similar bridge between creatives and commissioners, whilst offering great films and a good night out.
This monthly screening will give you an opportunity to meet people from the tv and advertising industry, or maybe a collaborator for your next film.
