UK / BIRMINGHAM CONSERVATOIRE: COMPOSING FOR FILM

Learn about sound to picture scoring at an intensive course this summer. Between 13 and 17 July 2009 at the Birmingham Conservatoire, you can learn the practical and theoretical approaches to composing for film and visual media. You can also learn about the business of picture development, or how to work with producers. Everything from doing a pitch to how to score for games and advertising will be covered. Guest lectures will be there, including both leading composers and audio producers. When you leave you will have a new composed piece of work to add to your showreel.
